Hunza valley is a mountainous valley in the Gilgit–Baltistan region of Pakistan. Hunza is situated in the extreme northern part of Pakistan which connects China with Pakistan. Hunza valley is dived into 3 parts (Lower Hunza, Central Hunza and Upper Hunza (Gojal). Gojal and central Hunza are the most visited place for tourists from around the globeYou get to see the wealth of natural beauty on this trek. You will be walking into the lap of Rakaposhi and Diran through Tagaphari and returning to the campsite, adjacent to the glacier, same day. The green sheer ridge over the campsite serves as a panoramic viewpoint giving a perfect 360 degree view of surrounding mountains, glaciers and pastures an valleys.
Departure from Rawalpindi/Islamabad early in the morning for Chilas via the Karakorum Highway (KKH) (10-12 hrs) tea break in Abbotabad and lunch at Besham. Overnight stay at Gilgit Gateway Hotel or another similar choice.
After breakfast, leave for Hunza along the KKH. Tea break and photography of eye-catching natural views on the way to hunza at Rakaposhi (Breeze View Hotel) (1 hrs) and then proceed to Hunza. The journey to Hunza gives spectacular views of nature for the tourists and absorbs more attention than any other course along the KKH..
lunch at Hunza. Visit Altit Fort & Baltit Fort and hike up for a 3-4 hrs shot trek along the water channel over Baltit fort and ends at Altit fort via Duiker picnic spot. Afternoon is a good time to explore market in Karimabad.
After Breakfast. Early morning drive up to Duikar sunrise point where you can have ever best views of Rakaposhi, Diran, Golden peak, and Lady finger. Drive to Passu for lunch and proceed further to Sost. You will enjoy passing by the tiny valleys along the KKH running parallel to Hunza river throughout the journey final destination Khunjerab pass (Pak-China border) and Drive back to Minapin overnight stay at Diran Resorts.
In the early morning explore the surrounding areas with outstanding vistas of Rakaposhi and Diran. After breakfast, leave for Rawalpindi lunch at Chilas and dinner at Bisham. End of services on arrival at Islamabad.
